What heart! After his gutsy qualifying performances I knew from the very start of the 1500 he'd be on the podium. Here's a guy with more skill, talent, and soul than built-in ability (He's only 5'5"). It's such a pleasure to watch him race!
It was an awesome race! My 7 yr old ran the 1500m this year in track - he wasn't awake, but I taped the race for him.
ReplyDeleteAmazing performance by him! I thought it was going to be Centrowitz getting a medal not Manzano, props to him!!
ReplyDeleteugh! I missed that race. I'll have to see if I can catch a repeat of it On Demand.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up.
loved his burst at the end-brill
ReplyDeleteOh agreed! When I saw him near the back of the pack at the start of the last lap I was so sad, and then to watch him was awesome!!! He has so much heart. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great race...I missed it so I'll have to see if I can view it online!
