What makes half marathons and marathons so much more expensive to register for than 5K races?

ReplyDeleteI remember when $65 races were outlandishly expensive. sigh.
ReplyDeleteMegan: More street closures and aid stations. I think street closures is the biggest deal as races either have to pay police themselves or pay the city a stated fee.
ReplyDeleteAlso marathon T-shirts are higher quality. Just kidding.
