Sitting and sipping

I'm sitting here waiting for an MRI. I can't do anything that elicits discomfort (the word my doctor is using to replace "pain" for my small confused brain), but I'm not sure my doctor understands how much that limits me. I can't even go down stairs without feeling nagging pain, and walking still makes me wince.

So I'm doing a lot of sitting. Tonight I'm sitting at my computer watching "Alfred Hitchcock presents" and having a tasty cocktail. Life could be worse, right?

See ya after the MRI!

  1. Ugh, sorry to hear about the stress fracture. Hope there isn't anything more serious going on with it. Sending healing thoughts your way.

  2. I like those tumbler glasses, it's like an art deco city scape or something like that.

Good luck with all the sitting, don't get a pressure ulcer on your sacrum! But in all seriousness, what a bummer!

    1. Thanks, the highball glasses are from Mignon Faget, a local jeweler. The etching is of a row of New Orleans shot gun houses.

  3. I feel your disappointment. And I am glad to hear the that I am not the only person who has trouble recognizing or describing pain. I pray the MRI shows less damage than anticipated!

  4. Good luck on the MRI, hope it is good news.

  5. You've had enough already with the stress fracture, let's hope the MRI is clean. Best wishes!
