There was a girl I knew in college who was the object of every guy's crush. She was a flirtatious Southern belle, fully aware of her power over men. I have nothing against her.
Yet it does gratify me somewhat to observe via Facebook that she has aged less gracefully than anyone I've ever met.
haha! I saw something similar on FB and I had to save the picture to my computer so I could bring it up whenever I started to feel bad! I titled it "YESSSSS!!!!" :)
ReplyDeleteBahaha, I love this. Sometimes you have to be the bigger person....and sometimes you let that snark flag fly!!!
ReplyDeleteshort and honest.
ReplyDeleteThis is how the majority of my blog posts should be...
With my luck, though, If I caved and joined FB, I'd probably be depressed about how good everyone still looks.
Fly that flag proudly!! My best friend and I will text each other with "SCW" which means "super catty warning" when we are going to say something less than kind. Not usually my style, but sometimes you just have to say what you have to say.
ReplyDeleteAnd with the Southern Belle girl - that's karma for you!
Um, yep. :)
ReplyDeleteevery flipping hottie from my high school is STILL HOT. Or so says the flattering pictures they post on facebook.
ReplyDeleteha ha...this makes me laugh. Love it!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, the sands of time - the great equalizer.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Yes indeed.
ReplyDeleteWe all enjoy these particular snark flag moments. LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteBWAHAHAHA!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! There is a certain amount of gratitude when people who were snooty in HS are now fat and bald (or hairy if they are a woman) and looking old or ugly.
