In 2011, I was ranked 10,319th in the world for my 27.2 mile marathon time! Unfortunately, the rankings stop at 3 hours for the men and 4 hours for the women - but it's still interesting to peruse.
I just wasted about five minutes finding my name, but I think it gives me a really tangible (if ultimately pointless) goal: to break 30,000. Thanks for posting this!
There were a few of my friends missing - only actually managed to find one person I knew. And I missed the list by 6 minutes - I should never have left the course to find a toilet and get lost.
This just further confirms my under-performance at the marathon. :) . But interesting to know even amateurs are listed.

ReplyDeletePretty cool! I wish it did 2009. Haha. My time was better back then... In 2011 I was tied for 63,351st place!!! Woo!
ReplyDeleteBetter to be "ranked" than "rank"
ReplyDeletewow!!! that's crazy....how did you even figure that out?
ReplyDeleteI guess I need to run faster to get on that list!
