Well, maybe sometimes I'm a tad under the weather.
Tonight I actually warmed up for speedwork, struggled hard not to throw up, then went home. This is honestly the first time I can remember quitting a run because I felt sick. Not because I'm Superwoman, just because I almost never get sick!
Are you the type with a stomach of iron and immune system of steel?
Or does every little germ make a cozy home in your lungs and tummy?
I typically get sick, and STAY sick for like, a month. Its so flippin' annoying. Feel better soon lady.
ReplyDeleteI can usually power through, but sometimes it just takes everything out of me - I normally find that's when my body really needs me to slow down anyway, so it's like a sign. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteUm, I feel like I have no immune system, actually. I have had a sinus infection since late September and then i got the stomach flu a couple of weeks ago. Not fun!
ReplyDeleteI used to never get sick...that is until my two year old started preschool and seems to catch everything, and so do I! Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteFirst time that I've been sick in my recent memory was the week before the Richmond marathon...........bad upper respiratory infection. Other than that, I NEVER get sick.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been sick in ages (knock on wood!) I hope you get better soon. Being sick is NO fun!
