It was a good idea to try the one mile + one minute intervals. Except it makes it feel easier than it should and then you (I) end up doing too much or too fast. And you know what happens then...
just wait a couple of weeks! Hood to coast should give you some good tempo runs :)Rainahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14118022681297462844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-25514931832794698532015-08-18T20:08:13.988-05:002015-08-18T20:08:13.988-05:00Possibly the Jazz half Possibly the Jazz half Graciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05641028266038110278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-13145451039112673052015-08-18T15:42:45.756-05:002015-08-18T15:42:45.756-05:00I mean which "half."I mean which "half."Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15928994787907817674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-92031323206859790762015-08-18T15:42:24.682-05:002015-08-18T15:42:24.682-05:00Which marathon are you doing? Don't forget that the weather here makes doing hard running like that just plain AWFUL. In fact, the group I run with at track refuse to do anything other than 400s until the weather cools down. I was the odd man out today doing 600s. For me, the first couple workouts of a new running cycle always feel like I've never ran before. Your body will get used to it in a few weeks and I think you'll be right back to where you were.

B. It's tou...Don't be too hard on yourself... It's tough to come back from a phase where training, especially high intensity, was not possible. I know you think that you are 'slow' and out of shape but considering all you've been through, I think you should maybe adjust your expectations? I know that is tough to do given what you've accomplished in the past, though...Lisa from Lisa's Yarnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05335500882510597919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-11699469208551780362015-08-17T14:06:23.121-05:002015-08-17T14:06:23.121-05:00The work is sometimes the reward, you'll be ba...The work is sometimes the reward, you'll be back, I have no doubt.Carinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04079263542797994315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-42160926008787596172015-08-17T13:49:38.618-05:002015-08-17T13:49:38.618-05:00You've got to start from somewhere.
