I like that yours is all in one, my kids like to play with mine and I am lucky to find one of them on a given day. Although I guess if it was all in one, I might never find it?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09823563232341010867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-43286039436686430162012-10-18T12:27:36.548-05:002012-10-18T12:27:36.548-05:00It's about time you got on the rolling train!!...It's about time you got on the rolling train!! I just started using one with the nubby things on it, basically PVC pipe with the nubs on the outside - so much stiffer than the foam roller, I LOVE it. It hurts. I don't use it as often as I should, but when I do, it works wonders. Maybe this wil keep the pain away! I don't really use it after running that much, but I use it on my neck after a long day at the computer. I like the roller better, but think I need to upgrade to the grid one maybe. mine is cheap and it's a little warped. I should use it more often, but it does help when I'm sore and use it. I have 2 other roller/massage things too that I got from Road Runner Sports...one I use for the bottom of my feet...the other I use like a rolling pin on whatever body part is sore. Happy rolling! :)Melissahttp://runscootsrun.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-63036415343730234852012-10-16T12:47:17.017-05:002012-10-16T12:47:17.017-05:00So glad you finally became a real runner! All those ridiculously fast marathons you hammered out, before, were mere child's play. ;)
The only one of my kids small enough to walk on my back prefers jumping, to careful stepping. That was a painful experiment, to say the least. I stick with (and love) my foam roller, these days. jayloh@runningmovesmehttp://www.runningmovesme.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-31179595090125153692012-10-16T11:45:06.844-05:002012-10-16T11:45:06.844-05:00I don't have a foam roller or stick or anythin...I don't have a foam roller or stick or anything. Kristen (the other Little Runner) kept telling me about it, but I refused to believe in its magical healing powers. I have so many fewer niggles (or horcruxes as RoseRunner termed it) now...

I still foam roll on my quads, but now its not hard enough for my calves and butt/piriformis - I use a tennis ball for those bits! If you ever try it, be aware that you may break out into a cold sweat. It is intense.

Im thinking about the small child thing. Could be handy. I wonder how cheap they are...Penny - twolittlerunnershttp://www.twolittlerunners.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
