You "jog" Boston and finish with an incredible time (to me) & follow it up with a FAST 5k the next weekend.

.....you know how I feel :) - after the knee heals, 5ks and speed work. It's going to be a super summer. I feel it!Happy Feet 26.2https://www.blogger.com/profile/07319635538117315117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-12103383387022835962012-04-23T20:23:15.369-05:002012-04-23T20:23:15.369-05:00I'm impressed by a 19:50 5k so soon after Bost...I'm impressed by a 19:50 5k so soon after Boston! The knee thing is gross though. I hope it continues to get better.Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17720800873803974929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-71704900677154344622012-04-23T19:36:54.787-05:002012-04-23T19:36:54.787-05:00I vote for maybe, just maybe seeing a physician ab...I vote for maybe, just maybe seeing a physician about the knee. otherwise its awesome, no soreness!!! and a really nice time in a 5K, even if it wasn't your top performance!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-41162428925403358142012-04-23T12:33:40.356-05:002012-04-23T12:33:40.356-05:00I think you were not sore from Boston because you ...I think you were not sore from Boston because you ran it 20 min or so slower than your PR. That took nothing out of you. Also, you run so many marathons that your body is just used to them. I would expect you to be sore after 5Ks:) By the way, how awesome to get a sub 20 with no specific training? I think that if you spend time on the 5K/10K this summer, you are going to easily go sub 3 in the marathon this fall. Now that's talent:)Ana-Maria RunTriLivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06277465990759801560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-28278136419389747332012-04-23T12:29:40.549-05:002012-04-23T12:29:40.549-05:00I'm all cringed up now after reading about wha...I'm all cringed up now after reading about what you did to yourself. lol I can barely pop a zit without fainting, much less go poking needles into infected wounds.Pam @ herbieontherun.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08198123992152626641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-6498228459206270432012-04-23T10:42:13.312-05:002012-04-23T10:42:13.312-05:00Your poor knee!! Couldn't keep my eyes open all day and then slept 9 hours last night. Crazy.

Take care of that knee!misszippyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16816276167373260149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-53097452387813308082012-04-23T08:45:41.978-05:002012-04-23T08:45:41.978-05:00Yay for the extra rest!
