I didn't notice a slow recovery Sunday, but maybe I just wasn't thinking about it!Graciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05641028266038110278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-60651830007293019012017-11-09T15:33:03.454-06:002017-11-09T15:33:03.454-06:00I'm with Darkwave on this one. I know some people believe in emptying the fuel stores, but I think you also don't recover as well if you don't fuel.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06265175590096078175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-41431669911310290212017-11-07T11:06:20.904-06:002017-11-07T11:06:20.904-06:00My 5K PR kind of sucks compared to longer distance...My 5K PR kind of sucks compared to longer distances and I can't decide if that's because I've never focused on the 5K or if constant marathon training has ruined me for it haha. That is actually one of my major goals for this winter, to get some speed back! I bet the high mileage week/overall training load impacted you more than you realized too - I feel like top end speed is the first thing to disappear when I'm fatigued!Audreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00701483453296295755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-19249064475308395672017-11-07T11:05:12.525-06:002017-11-07T11:05:12.525-06:00It's all individual, but for me:

No way I could run a fast 5K a week later.AKA Darkwave, AKA Anarcha, AKA Cris.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09873516028463495708noreply@blogger.com
