Lesson learned. Back to the track *once* a week when I am feeling better.Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15928994787907817674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-16172636848270096752015-05-30T14:57:47.789-05:002015-05-30T14:57:47.789-05:00For me, anything over one speed session a week inj...For me, anything over one speed session a week injures me :(Graciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05641028266038110278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-84349029671693793992015-05-30T14:57:24.013-05:002015-05-30T14:57:24.013-05:00I have nothing on the schedule except a 4 mile bri...I have nothing on the schedule except a 4 mile bridge run next Saturday, which I'm running easy as a way to see the city. I think I need to build my base back up before any real racing. You lose so much running fitness so, so easily.Graciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05641028266038110278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-3288270823319858912015-05-30T14:47:40.334-05:002015-05-30T14:47:40.334-05:00Great job Grace, seems like things are coming righ...Great job Grace, seems like things are coming right along! Are you training for a long race? I always need race prep to put in bulk miles, or else I'm not motivated to run them.Jim ... 50after40https://www.blogger.com/profile/14165153305680378261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-80429946220968331712015-05-30T14:27:23.698-05:002015-05-30T14:27:23.698-05:00Nice!! Recently, Tuesday track and Friday tempo (often run too fast, turning it into a second track workout-bah!) resulted in this current hip injury at my goal mileage of 50 mpw. Sigh. If I am running all easy pace, however, then 50 mpw seems to do well for me. But then I don't see the race time improvements that I do with speed/tempo. Seems I'm always going back to the drawing board and trying to figure out what works after suffering frequent repetitive stress injuries.Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15928994787907817674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1457833116563861494.post-52058601303028185822015-05-30T13:49:13.936-05:002015-05-30T13:49:13.936-05:00That's awesome.
